Too bad his BIL couldn't make the big dance.

If my bracket beats Mr. Barack's bracket, do I get to be the President?

I will ask my mom to drive me to Washington, D.C.

Miss Annie, you don't want to be president - it would interfere too much with your writing great operas.

Hey! Where's USC? Just because we beat Oregon State.

He picked 3 first round upsets (not counting 8/9 games)

Only upset in Round 2 are 2 5s to beat 4s.

Has #3 Syracuse beating #2 Oklahoma

And #2 Memphis beating #1 UConn.

Final Four is three 1s & one 2

UNC over Louisville in the final

Maybe. I happen to think that Memphis and Louisville are over-rated, but I rarely do well in the Bracket challenge.

I think Louisville can go all the way.

But Memphis is iffy, and UNC and Pitt are going down before the Final Four.

UNC will be in the Final 4 if Lawson't toe is okay. If it's not, they will lose to Gonzaga in the Sweet 16 or in the Regional Final to Oklahoma, Syracuse, or Clemson.

What makes you shy off of Pitt? I don't see anybody in their bracket who I think can hang with them. The only thing that keeps them out of the Final 4, IMO, is if Blair gets in too much foul trouble.

He also didn't follow the rule that you should always pick a 12 to beat a 5.

As I look closer at the bracket, I think Villanova got moved up a line because they couldn't be a 4 (nor could they be dropped to a 5). Either of those seeds would have set up a situation wherein 2 Big East teams would have had the potential to face each other prior to a Regional final, which violates the policies and procedures of the selection committee. The only time that p&p can be violated is if a conference gets 9 teams in the tournament. Maybe I'm wrong, but I just don't think 'Nova deserved a 3 seed.

And Nova can get Blair in foul trouble- they did earlier this year.

I won't believe in Pitt until I see them do something in March. I still don't think they can score enough...and in the tourney, you have to be able to score.

Of course not!

Because the one #12 that has the best shot is Western Kentucky!

Obama at least picked Gonzaga to knock off the Illini, but he ain't picking against his state to bow out in the first round!

I think all 4 of the 12s can beat their opponents. But, you are correct that the best chance there is the Hilltoppers.

Ranked in order of likelihood, I would say:

1) WKU over Illinois
2) Wisconsin over Florida State (FSU is somewhat hot or cold)
3) Northern Iowa over Purdue
4) Arizona over Utah (Arizona shouldn't even be in the tournament. Now, watch them go out and win to make me--a lot of other people--look like sidiots for saying that)

I think that Arizona still is a 2-3 point favorite to beat Utah. (Correction: the line has slid to a pick'em status or 1 point game, depending on the site.)

I would say that Arizona has the best chance (and likely will beat Utah), then Wisconsin over FSU. I do not know much about WKU other than they looked bad when they played Southern Illinois. No. Iowa will not beat Purdue.

Mikey K wasn't too happy about Pres. Obama not having Duke in the Final Four. Mikey K's response: Obama should be more focused on the economy than the brackets.
