there was an editorial in the paper today calling for mr specter to switch parties, as their poll had 66% of repub voters wanting him out.
arlen dint rule anything out.
so...
I got to thinking who would challenge arlen in 2010
the guy who beat in the primary last time has no chance, as he is more suited to suthren areas
then it hit me
JoePa
he is only coaching part time
he is more "experienced" than arlen
and, if a war vote comes up, he will only vote to schedule wars against Belize,St Barts,St Kitts,Antigua and the like.
And he will make them fight on US Soil.

But, but, the Republican party is dead, isn't it? And if he switches to the Dems he'll just be another hanger on. But that won't kill the Republican party deader than it is, so, basically, is there anyone who cares?

Support for the Democratic Congressional candidates fell to a new low over the past week, allowing the GOP to move slightly head for the first time in recent years in the Generic Congressional Ballot.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that 41% said they would vote for their district’s Republican candidate while 39% would choose the Democrat.
