My Dept Secretary was crying

While on the phone at her desk a few minutes ago.
She isn't a really chatty person and I am wondering what to do.
I IM'ed my boss who sits directly behind her and has known her for years.
Heavy sigh.

Could you hear what she was talking about?
I'm not chatty at work but when I have cried here, I've wished someone would ask if I wanted to take a walk or something. Just to get out of the area and clear my head.

I'm not chatty at work but when I have cried here, I've wished someone would ask if I wanted to take a walk or something. Just to get out of the area and clear my head.
No, I was walking by and didn't want to stop as she was on the phone.
My boss hasn't responded to my IM

Maybe just ask her if she wants to go get some tea or something, you don't even have to ask what is wrong, just getting her out of there might help. No one likes to cry at work.
