as you know I've been working all year developing plans for a new library. now the school board is cooling off to the renovation even though bids came in much lower than expected and we will never be able to do the job again at such a low price.
Tomorrow night they are voting on the project. I need good vibes coming our way, Puh-lease! All the kids are counting on coming out of the dark and into the light. Currently library, black bookshelves, gray rugs, New library:

I will vibe for you. School building structures and maintenance are always the first things to get cut in budgets. Your school board needs to take advantage of the low bids, probably caused by the same economic factors that are generating their reluctance to do the work.

You have 'em from me. Mrs. Fly's hometown got a new library a couple years ago. Designed by an architect and everything (I'm not sure if it's really unusual for a library to be designed by an architect. Everytime I hear that, I'm surprised that there are other libraries that AREN'T. But that's what everyone says about it.). Really nice. Then they didn't have the money to keep it open more than 2 days a week until the millage passed last year.
