Kinda frakkin' slow start

To the final 3 hour episode to conclude BSG.
Still haven't quite figured out what all the flashback business has to do with anything. A bit late to be starting up a new storyline or tell us why they did what they did.
And it took an entire hour to figure out they needed to go after Hera? For frak's sake, I coulda told Adama that two weeks ago! A lot to wrap up in 2 hours (or more like 85 minutes...). I get the feeling it ain't gonna happen they way I want it too...

Wow! I thought.
What's Tan's involvement in frakking fluids?
(Or fraccing, or frac'ing, or however you want to spell it...)
Hydraulic fracturing fluids, in other words.

Ever since the mutiny, it's felt like a giant tease, hasn't it? Other than the kidnapping of Hera, NOTHING has really happened since then. It's like the writers thought: "Oh crap! We're ready for the finale, but we've still got four episodes left before then! Time for some filler!"
I can understand the deliberation about going after Hera. It would seem like too much risk for one little girl, especially with the Galactica falling apart. I wonder what Anders told Adama and Starbuck that convinced them?

The implication seemed to be that Anders gave them the new location of where Cavil has Hera. Although I can't remember if the raptor found it before or after Adama talked to Anders. In any case they really have been dragging it out as you say.

I still haven't figured out what BSG stands for -- other than a television show I've never watched.

Thank you, Mr. earendel. I will tell my mom. She asked me first, but I didn't know either, and I was too busy working on my March Madness bracket to look it up for her.

Miss Annie, I hope you can find room in your heart to root for the Louisville Cardinals for a while. They're my adopted team. I'll also be rooting for the Sooners because that's where I grew up and they have always had my first loyalty.

He told them: "Get off your frakking butts, you've only got two hours (minus commercials) left to wrap up this whole frakking series."

Hydraulic fracturing fluids, in other words.
Since I moved from CDC to ATSDR (which now is for all practical purposes the same thing even though officially they are two separate federal agencies) it would be possible for me to get involved with sites that use hydraulic fracturing fluids, oil and gas drilling sites for example, that might result in the production of excess toxic substances like volatile organic compounds. Hasn't occured so far though!

I really tried to get into Battlestar Galactica. I really did.
I had fond memories of the older version that was on when I was a kid, and was excited by a version that was going to be updated and more serious.
But I hated it. After three episodes, I stopped watching it- it just did a dull thud with me for some reason.
