Today's chuckle

A self-important college freshman walking along the beach took it upon himself to explain to a senior citizen resting on some steps why it was impossible for the older generation to understand his generation.
"You grew up in a world that was actually, almost a primitive one", he said, loud enough for those around him to hear. "The young people of today grow up with television, jet planes and space travel. We have cell phones, nuclear energy, computers and so much more."
After a brief silence, the senior citizen spoke up. "You're right, son. We didn't have those things when we were young .... so were invented them. Now, you arrogant little shit, what are you doing for the next generation?"
The applause from those around them was resounding.
