They may have had a shot to make it all work, if not for the immense pressures from the constant attention and prying from the "blogosphere" vultures. (For lack of a better term)
I will say that the kid would have been better off if Palin had not been picked to run for VP (or if she had declined).

I'll be perfectly happy to see the entire Palin clan return to anonymity. --BobAppa23 wrote:I will say that the kid would have been off if Palin had not been picked to run for VP (or if she had declined).

Cool. What time does Tech lose today? I know what happened last night, but if Pat Knight's in charge, bad things happen.TheConfessor wrote:Don't kill Cal's buzz. The Bears just beat the Jayhawks.

Re: Why am I not surprised?
I thought about posting this yesterday but couldn't do it because I couldn't separate it from Sarah Palin. I'm still mad at her assertion that it was 100% Bristol's choice to have the baby, while at the same time asserting that in every other pregnancy there is no choice.
But that has nothing to do with the lives that Bristol and Levi are going to have. Let's give the kids a break.

Rush Limbaugh is not the leader of the Republican Party, no matter how much President Obama and Jon Stewart want you to think so.Rexer25 wrote:TheCalvinator24 wrote:I like Sarah Palin, but I do not want her to become the standard-bearer for the Republican Party.Bob78164 wrote:I'll be perfectly happy to see the entire Palin clan return to anonymity. --Bob

According to David Frum, Limbaugh wants us to think so too. Yes- if she had not been picked for the VP slot, they wouldn't have had to pretend they were going to be together in the first place.Appa23 wrote:They may have had a shot to make it all work, if not for the immense pressures from the constant attention and prying from the "blogosphere" vultures. As long as Rush is the self-anointed leader of the Republican party, Democrats will have an easy time winning elections.

I heard on the radio here yesterday that Sarah Palin's PAC is raising money for her to visit Indiana next month, to "show support for causes she believes in." She's already scheduled to speak at my county's Right to Life banquet, followed by a breakfast with an organization devoted to helping special-needs children.

Time to stock up on canned food and ammo...
edited to add: The same applies to the Obama children. They should be strictly off limits to any sort of press coverage.
