And I can't get called even once!
I'm jealous! And I'm not being sarcastic!
But I can sense you are not as eager for jury duty as I am, so I hope that you get out of it, early in the day.

i enjoyed my one trial
glad i did it
i weaseled out of another one which would have taken 6-8 weeks
the other 4 times i wasnt empanelled or got sent home earlyish
there are thousands of retired types who would love to be on a jury
when i retire, i would like it too

Well, if you read my report from reporting for jury duty last month, answering that you don't believe and cannot follow the principle of "innocent until proven guilty" will get you excused post haste.

I'd like to serve, even if it takes 6 to 8 weeks.
The only trial we would have had lately approaching that, the defendant died in a bicycle accident a few weeks before the trial was scheduled.
