It's SO tough to comment on just two questions, but....yeah, no troubles here, either.

Between Carla and Anthony, we had a grand total of fourteen questions on this episode. We used to have two new contestants on almost every show. I'm guessing the evil clock prevents the show from cutting out any contestant thinking time, therefore reducing the number of people on the show. The clock has to go. Now.

I haven't tried compiling any statistics, but I don't think the unedited thinking time is a problem. I think they're just wasting more time in chatting. That includes chatting with the experts, who are the only lifeline not constrained by the clock.

I think the unedited thinking time contributes to the problem. But, to be sure, the additional talking from the ask the expert, et. al, probably takes up most of the extra time.
