Not mentioned in the transcript is the fact that Carla actually started to say "the spacecraft lands safely" before quickly changing to the correct answer.

I'm perfect on the first nine questions.

$25K: No clue on this one. I have to Phone-A-Friend, just so I can lock up the $25,000.

$100K: I think it's "Snakes on a Plane", but I'm going to ask the audience and see what they think. Unless they're absolutely sure on an answer, I'd also ask the experts. Since they would most likely convince me of my own answer, I'd probably ended up leaving with $25,000.

This is the only week for which I comment on the stacks, since I SHOULD BE ON THIS FRIGGIN' SHOW THIS FRIGGIN' WEEK. Not that I'm bitter or anything. I'm still hoping for next year.

Anyway....Nihil obstat (R thingie).

I was just talking to someone about "Executive Decision" the other day.

I was only slightly peeved that Carla had to PAF on the Jessica Rabbit question. It's one of my all-time favorite movie quotes. Other than that, I thought she did a good job.

I wish I had passed the test and got on this show because I knew the answers to all 12 questions Carla had. I would've made it $250K with all my lifelines intact. My father knew every answer except for the Mr. Mom question.

I am embarrassed to note that I always stop and watch Executive Decision when it plays on cable. So,no problem there.

I do not like Movie Week because it makes me feel stoopid.

I do not mind it. I am well aware that most serious movie trivia is outside my BOK and plan to have at least one PAF with that expertise. It's about the only week where I'd be happy, and often lucky, to make it to $8K on most stacks. This stack is a fine example of that.

If you were listening carefully, you'll note that Meredith said everyone in the audience would get a subscription, but she did not say they'd get a one-year subscription! The Saturday NYC audition last June was for both the regular and Movie Edition, and they gave all the auditioners a coupon for a subscription there, too. On close inspection, it was exactly the same one-month trial that they offer to everyone.

Bianca needs a PAF refresher on what NOW means. This was probably a difficult Google--lots of typing to enter all of these movie titles into the search.

Same here. I was noticing that all the topics up to this point in the stack were unusually straightforward. Then they get to one that I'd really like to see and it was a misleading label for something totally obscure.
