I was concerned because I got a text telling me that Art was going back to Hemopet.

It turns out that his Mom has breast cancer and she can't take care of him while she is having chemo. Some of the greyhound rescue people are going to foster him until his Mom is better, rather than have him wait for her at Hemopet.

Oh, this is good news -- for Art and for his mom, who probably was miserable for thinking she would have to return him. I wish her a complete and speedy recovery so that Art may move back to his forever(!) home as soon as possible.

Sending good vibes and prayers for mom and dog as well. Sigh.
