Kurt Warner signs with Cardinals
The Arizona Cardinals and Kurt Warner agreed Wednesday to a two-year deal, $23 million deal, with $19 million of the contract guaranteed.
Under the terms of the deal, Warner will receive a $15 million signing bonus and $4 million base in each of the two seasons.

Given that Warner is very open about his faith, this title seems inappropriate.
Enough already. It's my fault! Get over it!

It prolly should read 'signs'.

I know it should, but this is the type of headline Jay Leno highlights on his show.christie1111 wrote:Maybe the 'g' key is acting up like my 'c' key.Rexer25 wrote:Given that Warner is very open about his faith, this title seems inappropriate.

Not to pick on Kurt, but what up with the huge guaranties being paid to not only football players but baseball players also? With the slowdown I sure am of the opinion that not as many tickets will be sold this year. How about sponsorships? Are not some of companies gonna be short of cash to buy the luxury boxes and ads?

When I saw the header, I imagined it was some kind of upper-level Catholic Church sex scandal with a steroid sub-text.
These days, it's not so outlandish.

I am about 25% sure of this.

One of my cash-short co-workers sold all of her Broncos season tickets except for Cleveland and Oakland. I don't know about the luxury boxes etc., but I bet the regular tickets will sell pretty much the same as always.kusch wrote:Not to pick on Kurt, but what up with the huge guaranties being paid to not only football players but baseball players also? Good. He carried them to a Super Bowl and me to a fantasy championship last year. Glad he's back.
