The Continuing Adventures of Benjamin Linus

Spoiler
Was looking forward to the Locke-centric episode this week but was perhaps a little disappointed. A bit like the HRG flashback episode on Heroes although there were a few interesting tidbits.
First Abbadon gets wasted without really getting to know much more about him. Now that the actor is presumably busy on Fringe (although no telling how long that show might hang around as it does not seem to be doing well) perhaps they were looking to get his character out of the way.
Then when Ben suddenly changes gears and decides to string Locke up after preventing him from doing it himself when he hears about Eloise it would seem to be clearer the Eloise is firmly on the Widmore team. Altohugh since Widmore pointed Desmond to her that was already pretty clear. I still suspect that Eloise is the gun toting younger Ellie on the Island and that perhaps Faraday is the child of her and Charles Widmore. So just how did Widmore, Eloise and Daniel get off the island in the first place. Then again way back when it was apparently no big deal to come and go from the Island. They had a submarine after all. So did the always have to consult the lamp post to know where the sub had to go to get back to the Island. Tricky since subs don't move quite as fast as a jet... Or are we supposed to forget about the good old days of the sub?
And now we have 2 more new characters to deal with following the newest plane crash on the island, the "mysterious guy" in first class and the officer escorting Sayid. Clearly Frank Lapidus also survived the crash so it looks like he will become a recurring character as well.
And they still haven't bothered to explain the out riggers yet. Will be curious to see how they mesh the timelines between the new arrivals and those who stayed on the island. Jin looked like he had been there awhile since we last saw him. Did the flashes stop when the plane passed through the island barrier and those on the island then lived 3 years since we last saw them so that they are now caught up with the newly returned bunch? Or has it still been only a few days for them? Hmm...
And does anybody else think the stage is now sent for Walt to make an eventual return to the island? Yes, I think he will.
We still seem to be getting more questions than answers at this point.
Well, I am anyway!
