Fixed.

No wonder the guy used a lifeline. Here is where 50/50 then double-dip is useful.

Unless you're Bob Juch, being a sweepstakes winner who doesn't have to go through the audition process is a guarantee that you're going to win only $1,000. I can tell already that this guy is gonna make me vomit.

Back-to-back stacks with Lenin questions? :?

Nihil obstatĀ® for me so far. I'll be surprised if this contestant makes it past $16,000.

I'm looking forward to see how he ends up doing - and if TPTB will repeat this.

OK, he's already used a lifeline; this doesn't bode well.

Bob did not win a sweepstakes! He won a competition of trivia skill, answering some of the same questions being asked on the show.

A totally different--and infinitely better--process!

Nice work by 34% of the audience there.

The Montana time zone almost makes sense, but aren't the Alabama and Missouri time zones the same? :P

There are specific definitions in the hobby. A sweepstakes is a random drawing, no skill attached. A contest is skill-based, whether trivia or recipe or puzzle-solving (as with the current "Angels and Demons" promotion) or whatever. By law, you don't have to purchase a product or have anything to do with the sponsor to enter a sweepstakes. A contest can require you to send in a product label or otherwise show you've purchased the sponsor's wares.

I could see someone thinking "mountain" time zone could be named after "Montana", if they didn't realize that there is an "Alaskan" time zone.

I cannot see someone looking at that and saying, it's definitely the "Missouri" time zone...eastern, central, mountain and Missouri, right?
