Melly Loses Out at Razzies

We can understand Melly not being able to make it to the Razzie awards this year, but at least she, Mark Wahlberg, M. Night Shyamalan and company were spared the humiliation of attending and coming home empty. This year, Mike Myers and Paris Hilton were the big winners.
Myers was named worst actor for The Love Guru, which also won Worst Film and Worst Screenplay (co-written by Myers). Hilton was named Worst Actress and Worst Couple (for The Hottie and the Nottie) and Worst Supporting Actress for Repo, the opera about stealing body parts.
Pierce Brosnan's memorable renditions of Abba songs, which less discerning critics have compared to the noises cats make when they're getting frisky, earned him the Worst Supporting Actor Razzie. Hardworking German director Uwe Boll claimed the Worst Director award for his annual plunge into exploitation video game based shlock.
