The things I do for my job

We had to imbibe in alcoholic beverages in a meeting this morning.
An infused vodka, a black and tan and a gin and tonic along with a few other non-alcoholic drinks.
Tough job I know.

Now that's my kind of job! Especially drinking in the morning!! And not from the secret flask in my desk...wait, I mean, what secret flask......

Another thing about which Sprots and I agree. I wouldn't have described the flavor that way, though. To me, it tastes like I imagine pine needles would taste.

No, it's Greek Retsina wine that tastes like pine needles. Ugh!

Having had both gin and pine needles (or at least pine needle tea) I can say from personal experience that they did not taste the same.
Juniper needle tea perhaps would be similar since it is the same basic source but I haven't had that.

Really?
I'm assuming someone who doesn't drink wouldn't have had to. Maybe they just wouldn't have been allowed in the shower after the meeting...

When you're really drunk on that stuff, you don't notice how bad it tastes. Not like I'd know....
