Sean now has his Ask The Expert lifeline. Today's expert is the author of "Living Biblically", AJ Jacobs. AJ spent a year trying to follow every rule in the Bible. He wore a white robe, had a long beard, and ate crickets, a Biblically-recommended food.

Spoiler
San Diego isn't a major destination

Let's hope so - I don't like this new "bribe the host" approach.

Because wasting a lifeline is never a good idea. Especially when you practically gave the audience the answer from your analysis.

At least the expert didn't try to BS his way through an answer. But AJ, I doubt your book, even an autographed copy, would sell for the thousands that Sean is trying to win.

I guessed the right answer but in the HS I'd have been looking for lifelines. This seems like a WWOQ to me, and I doubt the audience would know this, nor the expert. So it's time to PAF.

He needed to go to California Adventure to learn this answer?

Boy, that really was a WWOQ! :P

Strange, I thought everyone knew you needed a starter for sourdough bread.

Clean stack for me to the $25K. I'm amazed I knew the answer to ANY question about Tyler Perry. It helps to pay attention to movie trailers and reviews, I guess.

NAC about SAN, so ATA. :)

Oh yeah, good thinking there Sean. Although if you are going to waste a lifeline for no particular reason you might not want to discuss it in depth first and then tell the audience which one you think is the right answer before asking their opinion.

But then you would have to know something about the show beforehand to catch those little subtleties...

I believe this is why you don't waste a lifeline Sean. Quite possibly the ATA gets you the 8K answer on one you really didn't know and then you don't have to torch the ATE and PAF as well. And as a result you at least have the PAF to take a shot at the 25K or more. Of course if your PAF doesn't know it and has the in depth knowledge of the game that you have then they might not know to use google to find what would then be a ridiculously easy answer worth a guaranteed 25K.

I guess I shouldn't be so negative. At least you had the good sense to quit at 16K!

Didn't seem likely you were going to do much better anyway...
