Several Republican governors may turn down some funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment act package, a move opponents say puts conservative ideology ahead of constituents' needs.

Opponents are wrong. But then again, they don't understand the problem, and they certainly couldn't craft the solution since it goes against their ideology.

Their constituents need to have more of their wealth robbed from them by the corrosive power of burgeoning deficits?

'course, I guess you're right- their wealth is going to be eroded whether they take the money or not, so they ought to take the money and not have as much wealth eroded.
