RIP Brad Van Pelt

A great linebacker on some lousy Giants teams of the 1970s. Unfortunately for Van Pelt, as his career was winding down, the Giants were finally putting the nucleus of their Super Bowl team together when Lawrence Taylor and Harry Carson joined the linebacker corps.

Age 57, an apparent heart attack.

One of the few Broncos I've ever liked was Bradlee Van Pelt. Still don't know why, but I loved him. So this news is sad to me because I feel for him losing his dad.

I remember seeing him play for the Giants. Another former pro passed before his time.
