Lockdown today at my kids' schools

#1 Post by BackInTex » Mon Feb 16, 2009 8:47 pm

All three schools locked down. Of course they are all next to each other so when one gets locked down, the other two usually do, too.

Essentially a man who had just lost his job called his wife saying he was leaving and going to go to the school to say 'goodbye' to his daughter. The wife called 911 to warn that he was suicidal. The sheriff's deputies found him parked in the Middle School parking log and approached him. He then fled on foot.
..what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? let them take arms.
~~ Thomas Jefferson

War is where the government tells you who the bad guy is.
Revolution is when you decide that for yourself.

Glad it all turned out okay.

Hoping the man has gotten some help or something.

Glad nothing bad happened. Hopefully, the dad gets OK too.
