I misunderestimated one President.

9/10
Spoiler
Review of the tapes appears to show that at the time of the alleged W blunder, he was waving at someone else, probably Kelsey Grammer, and not at Stevie Wonder.

The answer to this question contradicted itself:
President Zachary Taylor died from eating cherries and milk. (T/F)
Spoiler
The "correct" answer is "true," but then they went on to say that the cherries and milk weren't what killed him; it was probably typhoid or some other food borne bacteria.

I think there is a mistake on the Truman question using in quotes "S.", from what I understand there is no dot after the S so it should be Harry S Truman not Harry S. Truman - making the last question somewhat suspect.

a lot of people such as those who design death certificates like strings of causation, "cardiogenic shock due to acute myocardial infarction due to atherosclerotic heart disease" and I agree (though often the relations are far more complex). So typhoid due to contaiminated cherries and cream , with both attributable as causes is OK with me. . Of course, the typhoid bacillus was not known in 1850, so the cause of death at that time would have been listed as something else, assuming a summary with an official cause of death was done.

I thought I had seen both S. and S for Pres. Truman.

I read a polemic explaining about the S. Seems he or his parents were often asked what the S stood for, and they would say nothing! Just S! Just S!

So that made people say it was just S

Except President Truman signed Harry S. Truman.

With my brother, it's just E! and he signs SportsFanBrotherFirstName E. SportsFanBrotherLastName

Does the "E." stand for "Evil"?

Let me alter what I said in my last post. '"Typhoid" fever would have been recognized first as a syndrome (a syndrome = collection of symptoms and signs which go together to make a medical diagnosis: (drome = greek root for running, race, racecourse; "syndrome" is a running together, thusly. Typhoid was separated out from the general diagnosis of "fever" at some point, but I am not sure when.
