Hopefully he will FOAD and the world will be a better place.
Sorry, I can't stand hearing even one second of his brand of drivel.

I would like to think he shuts the eff up, but that would be too much to hope.

Is there a risk of Sirius going bust?

There's a real risk of them going Chapter 11, but not out of business.

So, on the Sirius/XM merger, who bought whom?
I guess what it boils down to for me is will I get left with an unfulfilled contract on my XM subscription?

Sirius was the surviving corporate entity.
You'd only wind up with a unfulfilled contract if they went under. Not happening - yet.

That's pretty much all I'm worried about. Howard Stern...who cares. What will happen to my daily XM fix on the ride to and from work...that's my huge concern!!

Just thought I'd bring this forward to answer my own question--if they declare Chapter 11--reorganization vice liquidation--they can and almost certainly will void the contracts of both Stern and their other big money "talent"...Martha Stewart. Stern is unlikely to stay since the stock he also got for signing is now almost totally worthless.

You're assuming he hasn't sold a bunch already. No idea if he had any trading constraints on it, as you would have as a corporate officer or with certain stock options. I'm sure he isn't going to go hungry anytime soon.
