WTF?

That's all.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

Spoiler
This place is swarming with commandos who are trying to capture or kill us, so by all means let's keep running in circles around the crash site and never get too far away from it.

Having Sylar get an apprentice was an interesting twist. But like the Sith lords and their apprentices, I doubt that a lot of time will go by without one doing the other in.

Spoiler
I know where I'm putting my money.

Will Peter ever realize that he has already screwed up the future he saw? Blondie is (maybe) dead instead of making a baby with Parkman. Irish Lass is still MIA (sorry, but her absence and Peter's amnesia about her bugs the crap out of me). Sylar is back to being a homicidal maniac instead of becoming a loving father. I'm sure there are other disjuncts I can't recall.

It's getting to the point where I no longer care what happens to the characters, because they're all becoming idiots along with the plot. Not a good sign for continued watching.

Spoiler
So who is "Rebel" going to turn out to be? I'm hoping he's Micah. With all these government agents chasing down the heroes, using spy cameras, tracking credit card and cell phone usages, etc., they're going to need the help of a technopath!

That would be out of the blue. Micah and his cousin have been off the radar for a while. I'm not sure that he and Claire have ever met. Whatever happened to Claire's flying boyfriend, anyway? He's another off-the-wall possibility, since he could easily have her phone number.

I hope Claire has the sense to delete old messages from her cellphone.

Marley, are we the only ones who care enough about the show to watch in real time and comment soon thereafter?

That didn't really have to be spoilered, did it?

It's still early in the morning for some people. And ear may be too busy processing stimulus package money to respond right now.

At least, they are still investing in some quality (for TV) guest stars. Sylar's daddy is going to turn out to be John Glover. At this point, with NBC cutting back on five hours of programming next year with Jay Leno, I wouldn't count on Heroes coming back.
Spoiler
And how many more mad painters who can see the future are we going to have? That gimmick has gone so far beyond the stage of being remotely interesting.

Because elwing prefers the CBS comedies we watch them instead of "Heroes". Otherwise I would watch in real time and comment.

I didn't get to watch last night.

I'm not sure I will get to it before Friday.

Let's just say last nite didn't help their chances of still being on my radar in March. Probably didn't hurt it, but still.

I'm on a 2 day DVR lag...I plan on watching it tonight. I didn't watch last week's until Saturday, and I wished I had waited at that point, with the "to be continued..." I could have just watched them back to back.

Underwhelming to say the least. I may have to reconsider my position from the last thread of sticking it out primarily because I have followed it this long. Not a single character that I understand anymore, much less have any sympathy for. And the whole timeline thing has been done so poorly that I don't care about any of the characters, no matter where, or when, they are. If anything I kinda hope they kill off a few. Might help finally simplify the story line.
I will probably stick it out just to see if they can recapture the buzz that made it an early success. Sadly it is so full of holes in the storyline now that it makes the Lost plot seem simple by comparison. But it is one show that I will no longer be bothered by if it gets cancelled without resolution. Which seems likely. I would think it would have to be pricey to produce.

I've invested a lot of time, but the returns are diminishing rapidly. This latest storyline seems like a rejected first draft of X Men 2.

The characters seem to arbitrarily slip back and forth between good guy and bad guy with little rhyme or reason (it's almost like professional wrestling in that respect). I hope they have finally ditched all those time travel story lines which were more infuriating than anything else.

Lost uses time travel and flashbacks much better. The last season and this one really seem to be moving towards a conclusion. Heroes just seems to set things up so they can have something to do for the next month or so. When Lost got off track in Season 3, it was able to fix things. Heroes keeps "fixing" things but never seems to make them any better.

Last night, it finished fourth in the ratings behind the CBS comedies, The Bachelor and 24, and ratings don't look to pick up when Dancing with the Stars returns. If Heroes were a first year show with these ratings, it would be gone quickly.

No.

Though I'm not so sure "care" is the word I would use to describe me. But I am watching.
Spoiler
I liked Speedster, as (I think) Hiro called her. However, this show has blown people away before & not had them come back. The original painter. Sulu, in his role on this show. Micah's Dad & Mom, in that order. All sympathetic characters. (I am missing others I'm sure.)

So maybe Parkman's future-with-baby is not to be.

etc

The substance of the episode was okay for me, but why did it look like the completely changed the filming style. Most of it had the look of a telenovela.

Supposedly Kring has brought in a new writer, rather than do all of it himself. I thought the new guy's episodes weren't supposed to start until later on in this series, but I could be wrong.

The difference I was talking about has more to do with the lighting and cinematography than the writing. I think. Maybe a different writer leads to a different "look" to the show.

Okay, I watched it...and I agree with the "WTF?" assessment.

I think that the thing that bothers me most, is I have no idea what is going on and no idea what to anticipate. It's a hot mess. And I can't hope for any outcome next week, so it makes me feel less like watching. It's not like I could have guessed that it would have turned in this direction - and it wasn't a good surprise. I think my days with Heroes might be done.
