Puppies on the Bad List

1. Elizabeth Barrett Brownhound, who jumped onto my bed this morning, landing with one oversized paw directly in the middle of my left eye. I can open the eye now, but everything is still blurry. It's the eye that LASIK designated as the reading eye. This is ungood, considering that it makes using the computer difficult, but it's comparatively good, considering that I can still use the other one if I have to drive -- say, to the eye doctor, if the blurriness doesn't resolve itself by tomorrow.
2. There is no number 2.

Ouch.
Hope it all clears up soon.
She is not bad, she just loves you so much she couldn't stand not being with you another second.

I just reread and see you did not say she was bad, you said she was on the bad list.
Bad list, bad, bad, bad.
Good puppy, good, good, good.

Ouch.
Darn those overly enthusiastic types, anyhow.
I always have to remind myself how many animals I have unintentionally hurt, when I have one of those experiences.

I'm sorry you have to lean way back from the computer to see it, and still be able to reach the keys. Had a preacher's wife organist who would forget her glasses, and lean wayyyy back to see the music.

How's it feeling now? Did it get better as the day wore on? My bruised knee from my fall on Saturday is getting progressively worse. It looks bad and I cannot remember not to cross my legs, which hurts like crazy.
I hope your eye will be perfectly normal tomorrow.

Or, if you're a certain president, everything exists on the Google.
Or Goggle. I never can keep those straight

I didn't answer this last night, because I wasn't sure whether I was getting better or worse. I took Lizbit (or Lizbutt, as Sprots accurately pointed out) to obedience class, but driving there was awful. Every street light, store sign and headlamp seemed to be multiplied by a factor of 10. I also wore no eye makeup, and since I looked like I'd been crying all day, everybody's first thought was that I was in the middle of a major tragedy.
After a long night's sleep, today has been better. Although my eye still seems a bit swollen, the lid does open all the way, and the discomfort has been minor and intermittent, rather than constant. Close-up vision is still blurry, but I've decided to wait until Monday to decide whether I need to go to the ophthalmalogist* to find out if I have permanent paw-induced astigmatism or might have to go back for another Ludovico Treatment in the LASIK machine.
*If I have misspelled "ophthalmalogist," I offer my personal apologies to tanstaafl. I cannot see the dictionary clearly enough to double-check.
P.S. to tmitsss: Love the sleep goggles. I am trying to find the Way-back Machine so I can order them in time to wear them two nights ago.

Kay, if your knee is not vastly improved by Monday, you will go see your orthopedic guy. Yes, you will. Don't make me come up there.

I missed this yesterday. I'm sorry to hear of the injury, Miss SC. I hope it continues to get better in a fast-like way.

Thanks for worrying about me. I really think it's just a bad bruise. I had on layers of clothing as it was quite chilly that night, so that cushioned me when I crashed to the pavement.

The very top of my knee has a very deep bruise and it's just very tender to the touch. I don't think I twisted or tore anything. My meniscus and all that other stuff seems to be just fine.
