I am still annoyed about the censorship.

Everyone must be ill from the major temperature and weather changes. 50 here yesterday, back to 35 today, 50 again by Wednesday. The water was pouring off my roof so fast it looked like it was raining outside the windows. And I overdid the ice chopping from the end of my driveway and walkway. My shoulders are killing me this morning.

I am trying to figure out where to start on my long list.
Won't be here much today I think.

Of course, I've never been all here anyway.
For that matter, Mr. gh0st, neither have you ...

That's okay. And the Bored is busy again, so I guess the lull was just momentary, while everyone was getting coffee to prepare for the next round of the Great Free Speech debate.

Well...that's why I list my location as "Elsewhere".

Weird weather here. It has been above freezing (highs anyway) the last couple of days. It freaking rained last night to put a nice sheet of ice on the roads. This is a little unusual for us. Then tomorrow we are to get close to 6 inches of new snow. Looks like some people will not make it in to work today or tomorrow. I may even have to "walk" to work tomorrow or Wednesday.

Well, remember, four of us are sick. So we're probably not gonna be online too much today.

I almost went into the ditch and did go up onto the curb, braking into a one-foot berm to avoid smacking into the vehicle in front of me when the driver unexpectedly had to brake to avoid smacking the car in front of him, that driver having to brake because some idiot decided that the right-of-way rules at that particular intersection didn't apply to him. A very exciting three seconds ended peaceably when I was able to back out onto the street and spun only a little going forward again.
The predicted three to six inches will be gone from the roads within an hour of when the sun comes out, and in the meantime, everybody's late and a little tired.

Oh yeah, and some of us are sick too, so it's very quiet here this morning. Fortunately I've managed to miss whatever's going around . . . knock on wood . . .

I had extra cleanup. I was working on closets and cabinets while Stephen and his two lab partners were working on a Science Fair project and my s-i-l took Erin to the zoo with Demon Child since her husband was laying a floor in the spare room and...well, I figured everyone else was too busy to cook and I'd much rather cook than clean and sort, so I invited everyone over for Throw the Contents of My Freezer Onto the Grill and turned it into a party!
Which I still had to clean up, but I'm used to that part. And I managed to sell a dozen candy bars for the Little League fundraiser, so, bonus...

Thanks for all these updates, although when I said "everyone" I was really talking about those east coast BBs who are usually here by 8 am, ET. Terribly imprecise, I know...
So, for everyone who is driving through snow and the additional obstacle of idiot drivers--be careful out there!
For everyone who is sick--take the home remedy of your choice and get to bed!

I'm not sick, but I did sleep late today. A whole weekend with a 13 month old will wear you out!
I took him to his first picnic yesterday. He was really good, had more junk food than his parents would
have allowed, but sufficiently wore both of us out. I was asleep on the sofa at 7PM last night.
Saturday he had one twenty minute nap!!! We had a Mardi Gras party to attend, so I got a sitter.
I had him in bed by 7PM and he slept straight through to 7:30 Sunday morning.
That was an easy $25 for a 15 year old.
Sunday's nap was 40 minutes in the morning, just long enough for me to get my shower and get ready
before he was back to full speed again. The toys are picked up and the house is beginning to look
normal again. Maybe I'll be back to normal soon.

Hmmm. I did say spring was in the air this weekend, and the warm temperatures did melt away some of the snow, but whatever clear spots that made were still way too muddy for a picnic!

Normal? When have you ever been normal? Normal is boring!

His name is Mudd!
