New Game Show casting

#1 Post by plasticene » Wed Feb 04, 2009 12:20 pm

I don't know if this casting call has shown up on craigslist. It was forwarded to me by a co-worker, and I figured "big energy" BBs might be interested.
Casting all types for New PRIME-TIME TRIVIA game show from the same production company that brought you "Deal or no Deal," "1 vs 100" and "Wipeout"

Looking for big energy people 21-99. You can win huge money.

This is a on stage game show. NO GROSS STUNTS

We need people with BRAINS and people who are Athletic. If you are both then great but if you have more brain than brawn or vise versa that is great also.

Yes. You have to be able to crush a phone between your knees.
I am about 25% sure of this.

Do you only need enough brains to say things like:
This is a on stage game show.
If you are both then great but if you have more brain than brawn or vise versa that is great also.

I did a search on imdb.com for Ashton Ramsey and it came up with a credit as casting director on "Don't Forget The Lyrics." That is a show that does a good job finding energetic and likeable contestants who may not be the best singers, but do well with knowing the words to songs.

I remember the show "Dog Eat Dog" and that one used a combination of brains and brawn.

I mostly remember the hottie host, Brooke Burns, who, since then, has:

Been engaged to Bruce Willis
Survived a broken neck from a freak diving accident
Played a dowdy brunette in "Pepper Dennis"
Played a knockout brunette in "Miss Guided"
Resumed game show hosting on "Hole in the Wall"

I can rip the phone book in half!

OK, it's the Gastonia phonebook which only has 4 pages, but the AP's don't have to know that....
