The power has returned to Rivendell so I got to sleep in my own bed last night. It's hard to convey how wonderful it felt to be back where I belong.

That was one of my few New Year's resolutions and so far elwing and I have managed to keep it, even without the bad weather (or perhaps in spite of it).
