I think Marley stands alone on plenty of mountains.

Sorry, beast. I picked up a stomach bug on Sunday that had me borrowing your "CD" Merry Man for a while. Although I dragged myself back to the office today, I'm still not feeling much like joining the fun.

IKWYM - I'm the same way, accounted for but not present, as it were.

Does this mean Marley does not have any Gusses?

That seems strange.

It means Marley may never get to the top of the rankings.

He was beginning to get in Pea's neighborhood before the move to this Bored, but he's obviously losing ground...

OK. That makes more sense.

I'd kind of like to get back into the top 10 but I don't think that is going to happen unless I rededicate myself to the bored.

Or we get more trivia contests going. I have high hopes for December.

Well, I guess we'll see how things shake out tonight...

I have no idea what the counts are or even who is ahead of us but I was just figuring on not being able to pass you but there are "some" in the Top 10 that post even less than I do these days.

That was an awful, awful sentence.

There seems to be a lot of nasty viruses going around. I had it the day after Thanksgiving. Kelly Ripa had to leave the set of Live! that was taping in the Bahama's yesterday when she was too sick to go on. Showbiz on CNN made a huge deal of it in their headlines last night and when they got to the real story, it was nothing but a 24 hour virus.

She was back today.

Nothings come up this way yet - you all can keep your stuff in your towns, thank you very much.

I dint get a flu shot, and what I had wasn't the flu either. One of my co-workers asked me to describe it, and I told him I threw up for six hours and then slept the next 10.

I can see why one of my co-workers is avoiding us -- his immune system is seriously compromised because of cancer treatment, and a bout with whatever I had might be disastrous. I can't believe he's still coming to work, but he insists that not coming to work would kill him off just as certainly.

Same here. Evidently what I had was something that went through the office. When I came back yesterday I found out that about half the office had been out with the same symptoms.
