RIP Ingemar Johansson

Swedish heavyweight boxer who won the World Heavyweight Championship from Floyd Patterson in 1959 only to lose it back to Patterson a year later. His only two career losses were to Patterson, both by knockout. In his first loss, he was actually unconscious for about ten minutes.
Age 76.

My parents were both boxing fans so I grew watching boxing on TV.
But the 1959 Patterson-Johansson fight is the first one I really REMEMBER. I also remember thinking that Inemar Johansson was cute.
But I was seven, so it's all relative, I guess.

That's impressive. Almost anyone would have lost under those circumstances!

Now this is someone I did not think was still alive. At age 76, even if this is "dementia puglistica"-related, outlived many of his contemporaries in all sports
