Hmmm, thinking about the timing of this, is there any possibility this is a Sardinian baby?

Congratulations! :D

Thanks, all!

Due date is September 26th-ish.....Nina is 8 months now, so they will almost be Norwegian twins. She'll be about 15 months or so when the next one arrives. And no, this one is not a Sardinian baby unfortunately!....Nina was an Italian baby, so that would have been pretty neat! But this one will be a Clevelander through and through. Go Browns!

I always heard it as Irish twins. I guess it depends on what ethnic group you're from.

Congratulations! September is a great time to be born, because then in school he or she can invite all the new classmates to his/her birthday party!

Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

How...unexpected to be expecting again, I expect!

Actually, it's pretty cool. Mini had her first two 16 months apart, and although it was a bit frazzling the first couple weeks, things settled down nicely, and it was good kinda getting all the baby stuff over with.

Then she went and had two more and spread 'em out and wonders when she'll ever get away from The Wheels on the Bus.

Get it all over with while you're young and your body doesn't protest as much. Good plan.

Congratulations to all of you!

My husband and his older sister are Irish twins. They're the same age for two weeks.

My oldest son is early October, and I would just invite the whole class because the directories and class lists weren't out yet. Then the November son would do it anyway, and also invite friends from the year before and from the neighborhood, and it got to be too big for the party room at the museum after a while. I told the moms to drop off the kids and do some Christmas shopping at the nearby mall, and they mostly took me up on it! Two refusals out of like 30 kids. So that could get out of control a bit quickly. But he was thrilled. I guess that's what counts.

Poor Erin's is at Christmastime when everyone is away on break or partied out.
One more for the road!
