Everything covered with ice so kids home. Can't even send them out to play--too slippery. I laid in supplies in anticipation of this, but another day or two and it'll be Donner Pass time. I'd be enjoying this a lot more if it wasn't costing me a vacation day. The feds are on "unscheduled leave" so even though almost every local school district is closed and everyone is telling us to stay off the roads, I have to burn a vacation day.
Not a big gripe though in this economy--grateful to have a job with very little prospect of layoffs.
They'll be up demanding the computer any minute now...them, the short ones.
