HBO's Rome and Lone Star

#1 Post by Spock » Sat Jan 24, 2009 8:50 pm

We just started watching this series on DVD-

After 2 eps-we is hooked.

We have seen all of Deadwood and Big Love.

I also recently re-watched "Lone Star"-I have watched it several times-but it had been awhile now.

I absolutely love that movie.

If by "Lone Star" you mean the John Sayles movie featuring a then-unknown Chris Cooper, I agree it was a great movie. I haven't seen it since it played in the theatres, though.

yes, that is the one.

I had it on VHS and recently bought the DVD. I tend to maybe watch it once a year or so on nights I can't sleep.

Other movies I rewatch on sleepless nights.

Shawshank
