HDTV question

We got the 40 inch TV installed on the wall (not really a wall, but I don't need to go into where we installed it). We are trying to take the stand off and it just won't come off. We took the four screws out and tried to turn the stand off, tried to pressure the stand off and that sucker won't move.
Anyone have any ideas?

Can you find an Allen wrench among the 150,000,000 little parts that came with the set?
My husband had what sounds like the same problem and wrestled with and swore at it for hours. Then my son came home from school and noticed that the holes on the bottom looked like Allen-wrench holes, found the wrench, and had the base off in minutes.
Hope this helps.
Love,

I have an idea about how to get our HOA to purchase a $2,700 wireless stopwatch system for our swim team this year.
Does that help?

Love,
This helped very much. The screws did not come out - this was info I didn't have when I posted. He just loosened them and thought that was good enough. He will now go get a magnet to get them out. He did use the allen wrench.
Thanks for the help!

No - and I would love to know your idea.
