I once had a client that had lots of different data that was constantly scrolling up the screen way to fast to be useful. They needed the ability to freeze the scrolling but at the same time make sure that it would also retrieve and update the data at that exact moment so it would also need to repaint the screen as well.

I told them I would need to implement the Coca-Cola functionality -
