No, no, no.

Not ALL Cardinals fans. Just these two who vandalized Donovan McNabb's house in Glendale.

And left an address sticker on a cardboard box on the lawn.

Cardinals fans don't have much experience at this sort of thing.

I'm sure they learned from the people who have done that sort of thing to McNabb for years...

Eagles fans.

Really, sss? Eagles fans have been torching McNabb's lawn for years? Vandalizing his house?

News to me.

(Full disclosure -- in 1993, disgruntled Phillies fans threw eggs at Mitch Williams' house after the Joe Carter homer. Mitch himself said he probably would have thrown eggs at his own house -- and would have missed. Mitch is a now a beloved local sports figure).

The stupidity to which I was referring was one of the guys leaving his address at the site. It's like going into a bank with "this is a stickup" written on the back of one of your own checks.

This was a series of events -- even McNabb thought the homemade signs reading "Go Cardinals" were funny.

I just think putting diesel fuel on someone's lawn and setting it on fire -- with the man's mother and infant twins inside the house -- kind of crosses the line.

And, while you are ragging on Philadelphia fans, I also think there is a distinct difference between setting a fire at McNabb's house and derivsively cheering (and throwing snowballs at) a drunken, skinny guy dressed as Santa Claus (which is all on the Eagles' management -- that's the best they could come up with, even on short notice?).

BTW, the Eagles fans and the drunken Santa Claus was in 1968 -- can we give it that a flipping rest now?

One more thing -- one of the guys who did this is 37 years old. the other was is 29. These aren't kids out for a joyride.
