Actually it was taken in Joshua Tree National Park!

Does AJ get a percentage of the money he saved BAM this week?

What's your source? Wikipedia and other sources confirm Death Valley NP.

Well those sources make it very clear it was in Death Valley. I'm either misremembering or someone once incorrectly told me it was in Joshua Tree National Park.

Pretty good stack... until we get to the dreaded art question at $250,000.

$8K: I did know that Pacino and DeNiro were in "Heat", but I didn't know if both of them appeared in "The Score". I will also ask the audience.
BBTranscriptTeam wrote:$25,000 (The Joshua Tree): The photo on the front cover of U2's 1987 album "The Joshua Tree" was taken in what U.S. national park?

I also would've asked the "expert" on this question. After the so-called know-it-all gave me his BS about Joshua trees in Yosemite, I would've said on camera, "Ummm, AJ? I never graduated college, but I do know for a fact that Joshua trees grow only in the desert. Did you ever read about Joshua trees in the encyclopedia, Mr. Know-It-All?" So while AJ's head explodes on national TV, I will Double Dip on Grand Canyon and Death Valley.

Well I should hope that she was excited to be there.

A. Rapunzel B. Snow White
C. Cinderella D. Rumpelstiltskin
Spoiler
B. Snow White (7)
Hmmm...two Snow White questions in subsequent stacks - is it about time to re-release this "classic" from the Disney vault?? Also, I thought Snow merely went into a coma, not actual death.
BBTranscriptTeam wrote:$4,000 (Data Entry): Using proper typing techniques, which of these words can be typed on a standard QWERTY keyboard using just one hand?
A. Million B. Prize
C. Jackpot D. Winnings
Spoiler
A. Million (21)
This comes under the heading of a "time waster" question (like Millionaire Fan's dad's question about vowels) - one that almost forces the contestant to use a lifeline. One who's familiar with the QWERTY keyboard might get it quickly enough.
BBTranscriptTeam wrote:$8,000 (Box-Office Draws): The 2008 drama "Righteous Kill" marks the first time Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro have headlined a film together since what movie?

A. The Score - 13%
B. Heat - 74%
C. Cop Land - 5%
D. Insomnia - 8%

B. Heat (19)
"Heat" was the only title I recognized. Since movies are not my specialty, it's time to ATA.
BBTranscriptTeam wrote:$25,000 (The Joshua Tree): The photo on the front cover of U2's 1987 album "The Joshua Tree" was taken in what U.S. national park?

D. Death Valley (14)
I'd have been torn between Grand Canyon and Death Valley. Once again the "expert" proves to be no expert. Since I still have Double Dip, I'd use it here.

Well those sources make it very clear it was in Death Valley. I'm either misremembering or someone once incorrectly told me it was in Joshua Tree National Park.
I can't recall ever seeing the album cover or reading about where the photo for said unseen album cover was taken, but I thought it was very odd to see this question without Joshua Tree National Park as one of the choices.

Well, that would have been ugly. Only way I got 4K is that I have the keyboard in front of me. 8K I guessed correctly but only a guess. 16K was no problem but once again resort to guessing, correctly as it turns out, at 25K.

Would have been bleeding lifelines left and right and with the stellar assistance of the ATE would potentially have crashed and burned as well.

That would have been downright nasty. It was a gimmie if anyone had any sense of geography.

That's what I thought, too. Perhaps the Grimm version had her die? I would think they'd rather pimp the Disney version, though.

Well, I guess it would be nasty, since the correct answer is Death Valley. But since I didn't know that when I saw the question, it was a real "Huh?" moment for me.

300: To be really honest, I would have to ask the audience here. I might have seen this but I just had a blank.

8K: Since I don't have my audience, I would ask Mr. Jacobs. Maybe he's seen some movies.

25K: Phone-a-friend and if that doesn't work then double dip on Grand Canyon and Death Valley.

I'd be going for $50K but with either just Double Dip or no lifelines remaining.

What is it you would be draining from a piano, grandfather clock or recliner?
