Also Senator Robert Byrd.

And Senator Byrd also was taken ill and taken from the luncheon.

There doesn't seem to be much info on Byrd.

Seems to be conflicting opinions about whether he had a medical incident or not.

According to Senator Orin Hatch, Kennedy was speaking as they wheeled him in to the ambulance. But when you're a brain cancer patient, they take you for those MRIs even if you regain consciousness. As they should.
