WWTBAM Bored

SyndieBAM is being preempted in lots of markets today. Last week, I volunteered to fill in for Snaxx doing today's transcriptions, after an online schedule said that my station would be airing it, as usual, at 7 pm tonight. The weekly TV guide I got in Saturday's newspaper said that, too. But WSYR's TV listing on their own web site, today, shows that they're airing a special 90 minute edition of ABC's World News with Charles Gibson (as ABC has been promoting for the last week or so).

If anyone is getting SyndieBAM today, can you please tape and transcribe it?

I can't imagine it will actually air anywhere during the day today. I doubt that even Hawaii will have it on at the regular time.

Do we think it will just get shifted to tomorrow?

I am feeling bad for TXMom.

The program listings in my market show TBA in place of WWTBAM

My on-TV guide is showing WWTBAM at its normal 5 PM timeslot in St. Louis. It airs here on an ABC station with no local newscast (It competes against every other station's 5PM news, just like it used to go up against the 10PM newscats in its old slot). The Inauguration stuff seems to be ending at 4:00....

Of course, I can't tape it, and I won't be up at 5:00, but I'm just sayin'....

That's up to each individual station. TexasMommy said her Dallas/Forth Worth station is airing it Saturday morning...at 3:40 am.

Yeah. They had repeats for those three weeks in December when TPTB thought people wouldn't be watching. What about a day like this when it's not even being aired?

It is scheduled at 4:00 AZ time and I have it taping so I will let you know at 5ish when I get home

While I can't do it myself, I will see what I can do about getting today's show taped for transcription if nobody else will be able to.... assuming it is going to air here, which I think it will.....

We are on the metric calendar around here.

The programs use to be delivered to the stations the day before they were to be aired.
Someone at the Atlanta affiliate aired the show that was delivered that day rather than the one meant for broadcast.

If no one else can get it, it airs at 730 pm here and I can do it.

But I am not promising all those topic trees and spoiler tags and seconds-on-the-clock markers everywhere. That shit sucks.

Maybe TPTB can choose this week to rebroadcast, the next time they go into repeats.
