is watched more than I thought.
Sting was at the local pharmacy last week. I mean the really local one. The one right in town.
He hands his Rx to the woman at the counter. She looks at the Rx, looks at him, looks back at the Rx and looks back at him and starts yelling "YOUR WIFE WAS ON WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE THE OTHER NIGHT! OH MY GOD!!!!!"
Sting being the calm guy he is, says "You watch reruns on the Game Show Network, don't you?"
The clerk then gathered every employee and every customer around so Sting could answer questions.

Good to see that you and Sting are being recognized anew.

Funny thing is - it is new - neither of us were recognized back then.

Same thing here. I had 6 people talk to me about my show that aired in December. 4 when out and about and 2 phoned me. 1 of them did no believe me when I told him the original show was aired 6 years ago.

And then there's the oblivious contingent. I was on another message board last night when one of the women (from Arizona) posted that her boyfriend had received a call during the football game from a plumber friend wanting to know the name of the wild boar that inhabits Arizona. BF asked plumber why he wanted to know this. Plumber says because he's on WWTBAM and he's calling his PAF and that if he gets this right, he'll share his winnings with BF.
I told her not to let him pick out anything very expensive to buy with the winnings.........seeing as how Millionaire wrapped up taping for this season back in November or so. BF had already started calling people to say he was going to be on Millionaire.

The plumber friend sounds like a funny guy.

I've been a fan of GSN for 4 years, since I first saw "Millionaire" in its Primetime days. Where I live, it used to be on Channel 52, so I could watch it anywhere but then, it switched to Channel 80 so now I can only watch it on my cable box.
