How do I get the non-blackout, drop-down spoiler?

Spoiler
"spoiler" is the blackout styleFor the second one, you can add optional text between the "=" and "]" by surrounding your text with quotes.This is optional text
"spoiler=" is the drop-down style
I think that one is definitely over my head or maybe it's just too late right now for my brain toEstonut wrote:Now both of you can try the optional text. Get that right, and you're both spoiler experts! Don't try to nest them too much, though, it seems to get confused and make a mess!
I understand if you don't want to try it, but it's one little step more than what you did before.kayrharris wrote:I think that one is definitely over my head or maybe it's just too late right now for my brain toEstonut wrote:Now both of you can try the optional text. compute it. I don't have clue on that as of right now. Thanks anyway. Appreciate the help on the spoiler thingie.
Quotes are not necessary for the text to show up in the (Spoiler=) function.... so long as the text you want is between the equal sign and the closing bracket.....Estonut wrote:I understand if you don't want to try it, but it's one little step more than what you did before.kayrharris wrote:I think that one is definitely over my head or maybe it's just too late right now for my brain toEstonut wrote:Now both of you can try the optional text. Type something
Highlight it
press the "spoiler=" button
between the = and the ]
type "something" (including the quotes)
preview or submit
That's all there is to spoilers!
I just tested that. You are correct. I assumed they'd be required because they are required for thelittlebeast13 wrote:Quotes are not necessary for the text to show up in the (Spoiler=) function.... so long as the text you want is between the equal sign and the closing bracket.....
