Now does anyone know...

- When do they usually audition/tape?

- When they say for eligibility reasons that you can't have been on a show in the past year, is that tape date? Air date? Can I take the test and hope I'll be eligible by the time of interviews? Or am I out for this year? (Tape date 10/07, Air date 5/08)

Any insight is appreciated!!

Magic date is the air date. You need to hope you don't get called for an interview until May of this year.

Well first I need to hope I pass the test...so we'll see. I guess it's worth doing, then see what happens. I can always dream.

Sorry for the duplicate post, I was MIA in December and didn't even know you were all talking about this...

It wasn't a duplicate - you got an e-mail invite! That is not the same as there are online tests happening!

This may be a dumb question, but do you have to take the test in your time zone or can you register for any of the tests?

Duplicate posts are gratuitous. You know we have very harsh penalties for gratuity around here!

In other words, not a problem.

They say that they prefer that you take the test for your own time zone, but you may take a different one if you have a schedule problem or something. But you can only take one.

Although I already knew about it from the bored, I also just received the e-mail this afternoon.

H or B:

Me too. The web site states that there is a box to check if you just want to take the test for fun. I went to an in-person audition, in Chicago, last June, so this is what I will do.

I got the same e-mail today as well...

Only problem is, the time is RIGHT SMACK in the middle of my workday! :x

I also got the e-mail today.

I signed up the first day of registration. They say the early bird gets the worm, or in this case, (hopefully) an audition slot in Chicago.

I have a half-hour lunch...but it hits at 730 pm local (CST)...so I'd either have to go early or late to lunch...might be able to convince the boss to let me

I'm not eligible this time around -- but Rosemary wants to try it this time. Does anyone know what the audition cities are for this test??

Thanks, Cal!!!

DC again?? Really? That's where I auditioned in July!

Since that's where Ro lives, I guess she'll be happy :)

And if Leah or Megan, or any of my other siblings, pass the test, they can pick DC and stay with Ro.
