My older brother responded to
this call for articles. His piece on the 1942 Rose Bowl was selected for inclusion.
I am proud.
And just a little bit jealous.

I looked up envious on dictionary.com to see the distinction between envious and jealous.
When looking at all the definitions, there doesn't appear to be a real difference. Both words include "resentment," but I don't think that is necessarily the connotation for either word.
It does seem that envy has more to do with covetousness, and jealousy is more about ill will.
I learned something.

I think he sent me the original article (unedited), but I do think it would violate the copyright for me to post the whole thing.
When I get home, I'll post an excerpt.
