0°F

That's the official temperature at the airport now, but the radio had a number of unofficial reports lower than that in the area. But it'll be back up in the teens tomorrow and the twenties by Sunday! :)

A guy in my neighborhood was jogging with a pair of greyhounds. They were sporting winter coats and some warm-looking dickies, but I bet their heads and legs were still cold!

Two below at home, ten below outside my office window. My QA manager is claiming 14 below at her house, about five miles from here. Thank ghu there's no wind to speak of.

I'm not gonna complain about my cold office today.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

11 above here and heading close to 30. About time we are back to "normal". :D

Unbelievable is that Wal-Mart is still closed!!! They should have been able to clear the snow off the roof by now since they closed last Sunday. Another small "strip mall" is also closed along with the local parochial high school. I checked my roof and I think I am ok but many others have cleared their roofs.

We should get above freezing over the weekend.

Weather report this AM says that Boston / New England won't see 32F for at least another week. I think the highest high temperature in the long-range forecast is 25F.

I talked to my dad this morning. -19F on the farm in eastern Indiana.

My dad did the weather records for years at the Purdue research station nearby. He thinks the record for the day is -20F back in 1977 so this is going to be close.

We had a record low of -24 this a.m. Our pipes froze. Good times. Expecting similar temps tonight.

I need to quit recycling and buy a Hummer to speed up this global warming I keep hearing about!

I just walked Zap. It's 80 degrees outside right now. It's very dry and there is the slightest amount of wind.

It's supposed to "cool off" this weekend and get into the mid-seventies.

It was 6 degrees above zero today-it's supposed to go to at least zero tonight-we're still under a wind chill advisory until 7am tomorrow. The weatherman says it will be in the 20's tomorrow and we will get above freezing-a heat wave! by next Wednesday.
