The Omen as Presidential Prophecy

When I read the Russian "skeptic" claim that Barack Obama only had an urn sufficient for the ashes of a medium-sized dog, for the ashes of his grandmother, I realized that at least some of the birth certificate publicity is probably a subtle, or maybe not subtle, reference to The Omen. As "serious" prophecy.
Am I nuts?
Is this a common assertion?

It can't be very common, because not only have I never heard it, but I'm not even sure what you mean. What happened in The Omen that has any bearing on a birth certificate? (Am I just not remembering some key plot element in one of the films by that title?)

Damien Thorn, future devil, is born of some form of canine or lupine animal, and is switched with the real Thorn baby by those in league with the infernal who claim that the real Thorn baby and human Damien mother die iIIRC in the same hospital Obstetrics unit.
If someone were a devil without human parentage, one's birth certificate might be evidently false, and it might require the participation of a whole host of devilworshippers to hide that fact.
Of course a real devil ought to have at least as good access to forgery as the KGB did...

Damian's mother was a jackal. But, IIRC, Mrs. Thorn didn't die at birth (at least in the original movie, I couldn't stand to see the sequel); she lived until she could be finished off later with some gruesome FX.
Still, I imagine there was a legitimate birth certificate, even if it didn't record the switched-at-birth business.

The baby-switched mother was supposed to have died in birth, and the opening of her grave to find the jackal IIRC major plot development. I never watched II or III to see how or if his rise to power went.
After that movie and Exorcist, the Catholic themed horror movie became pretty common, but no more high-minded High Drama like struggling with faith, or with the silence of the confessional, or Love vs Holy Orders. I guess with "Doubt" that high drama is back.

Oh, yeah, the jackal died. And then the scientist who discovers that Damien has jackal blood met a gruesome death.
And the sequels were more of the same--more discoveries of horrifying clues, more gruesome FX deaths. Ho hum.

Obama is a Muslim. Muslims hate dogs. Therefore, Obama's mother couldn't be a dog.
