(I told my son he didn't have to pledge if he didn't want to. It's not like he's going to go out and overthrow the government or anything, but half his class is from foreign countries and he asked what the deal was. I said to stand respectfully and he was good with me.)

I would not be surprised to learn that Charles Whitman recited the Pledge of Allegiance every morning of his life.

I would not be surprised to learn that Charles Whitman recited the Pledge of Allegiance every morning of his life.
