That was a really boring first half, from the announcers to the game. Just sayin'...

Gotta say the 2nd half was a lot more exciting than the 1st half. Turned out to be a very
good game. What an ending! I still didn't care for the announcers. JMHO......

Tressel: what an idiot.

Quick! Your team holds a four-point lead against a team that has shredded your secondary.

That team has reached the 30 yard line with 27 seconds left, and needs a TOUCHDOWN to win.

What do you do?

"Oh, I know!" says Tressel. "I think the best move is to play EVERYONE up tight on defense! That'll show the Longhorns!"

Idiotic. Friggin' idiotic.

It won't be a convincing enough win to top the AP poll, but it sure was a sweet finish! Hook 'em Horns!!!

(Of course, Texas should have been pulling out the last-second win against Florida, not Ohio State, but it'll be fun to watch Oklahoma lose yet another BCS bowl. )

If they played the way they did in the Fiesta Bowl against either Oklahoma or Florida I am not sure they would have been anywhere close to pulling out a last second win. It wasn't the Texas defense alone that kept the score low in the first half. Until they started using the senior quarterback to mix things up with an actual passing game about the only offense Ohio State had was the scrambling for his life by the Frosh QB. Unlike Ohio State both Florida and the Sooners have an offense and Texas might have found itself down 3 or 4 scores by halftime.

HEY!

I pulled for UT last night. It's time for you to reciprocate.

At this point, after that game last night, Texas isn't going to get much sympathy for the "we shoulda been there" complaint.

Now, if OU doesn't pull off the "upset" everyone will be saying that USC should have been there.

Everyone seems to forget that OU is ranked #1 in the BCS Standings, so it's not really a matter of someone else being there other than OU. The argument should be that somebody else might have deserved that #2 slot.

I will confess that I would rather OU play Florida than USC right now.

i/m glad i missed the first half, the 2nd was fabu

i dont know why tressel plays pryor, and then runs such a limited offense. He has a good qb in boeckman who knows the offense, yet he has wasted away for much of the year.

I dont think the texas dink and dunk would work at all vs usc.
