What this crisis is going to do is bring us into financial alignment. Families may have to live together again! What a concept. Grandparents will live with their grown children and help raise their grandchildren -- even at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. Neighbors are going to meal share and carpool and child care for each other and maybe even rent out parts of homes to other families. Less meat, more beans. Might be better for you anyway. Less indoor gym workouts and more walking, more park time, more family outdoor time.

Obama promised change. Change comes from truth, Jung said, "only that which changes, remains true." but as Jack Nicholson said in A Few Good Men, "you can't handle the truth!" Can you? Can you handle the change? You can if you understand that you are not alone, but that we can handle anything together.

Can my m-i-l come live with you? She's been threatening to sell her condo and come to my place instead. I'm all about families, but not when I'm taking care of them AND my kids, not having them help out with the kids. That doesn't happen.

I had a therapist comment that the Sandwich Generation was getting younger and younger with women delaying having children. I was caring for my 65-year-old mom and 6-week-old son at the same time. No fun.

6-week old son? Have I missed out on an expansion of the 26 family?

Past tense. My mom had her third stroke the same day I went into labor with Mini-me. That was just funfunfun for me, the caretaker until my dad could sell his business. Especially since it was right before Christmas, and I somehow ended up hosting on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and the day after--I guess everyone thought it would be easier than having me bring a newborn to their house. How...........thoughtful they all were.

Since vocabulary is the theme of the day, can I assume the ellipsis cubed is replacing a seven letter adjective that starts with f and ends with g?

I had no specific word in mind, but anything polysyllabic will do......
