Sploofus asked me today which state is directly south of the state of Washington. Only 72.7% got it right!

I agree that in general, Statesiders are geographically challenged. Having said that, I still wouldn't draw that conclusion from a Sploofus percentage. Some players may be computerly challenged like myself, and Sploofus may time out on them before it registers the correct answer.

Just a reminder that Sploofus is an international site. There may be folks answering who don't live in the U.S.!

I've seen higher than 95% on pop culture questions.

I'm sure they know U.S. geography better than Americans.

I should have added that the highest percentage I've ever seen on a question is 81 percent. Now I want to get a 95% question.

I guess the percentage error is probably closer to 5%, not 20% as I had imagined. So I'll go try today's Sploofus after all.

You know how I see Tubadave and I read Tub a Dave.

I read Duh Mass and read Da Mass.

That is until I saw the avatar, then it was what was intended.

I don't.

We don't do commercials very often in these parts.

I would be interested to know which commercial you are referring to. I have had the Duh Mass MM for a long time, I even think it precedes MBFFB®....

The guy interviewing for a job who reads his interviewer's nameplate and addresses him as "Mr. Dumb Ass". After the the third or fourth time, the guy corrects him, "It's pronounced "Du-mass."

So maybe the MM inspired the commercial, instead of the other way around.

Also reminds me of Sister #1's story about the guy who showed up out at Mecca for an interview wearing a "Dumb Ass" T shirt.....

He didn't get hired....

That question doesn't mean anything other than Oregon isn't memorable for anything.
