My roll call of "good news"

I can fill up my car for less than $20.

We have a smart, young president coming in.

The snow is melting here in Rochester and it's going to be 44 degrees today -- warm enough for me to go into the attic and get out my decorations!

My Christmas ham was on sale.

I got a rebate check yesterday -- just in time for grocery shopping.

My siblings chipped in and bought me a 40" HDTV for my Christmas/birthday combo and the delivery guys took my giant console 20-year-old TV away for free!

The bored is back up!

-- and to all a Merry Christmas! (and happy holidays to all who celebrate in other ways!)

You must have a small tank!

I say a BP station selling regular for $1.418 on my way home - didn't need gas though.

I also saw a Smart Car on US 1. That's one brave driver!

It was 44° in Trenton, 34° on I-287 and 32° in my driveway. I hope the rain that we're just starting to get doesn't freeze.

No, but I'm suffering from Post-Traumatic Pump Stress: I'm afraid that if I don't buy gas now, it will go up and the next time I fill up it will be $4.23/gallon.

I had a dream like that last summer.

I will not fill the tank , as long as the prices keep coming down. (Im so smart, eh?!)

In Jersey, it's $1.43. In Monroe, its $1.91....go figure
