Hope you have a most excellent birthday, my friend. Good luck to your Irish tomorrow and your Vikings as well (my Dad was also a Vikings AND Notre Dame fan, so he'll be cheering them on from "Up There").

Thanks, all! The birthday was great. I spent the whole day with Tracey while she went around doing insulin pump trainings and then we went with my parents to The Melting Pot for dinner. Tracey got me one of those turntables that can turn vinyl into digital, so I'm excited about finally converting a bunch of the albums and 45s I have. Just what I need! More toys!
T- Bone, I'm glad to hear that there were more Vikings/Irish fans than just me! They way my teams play, you'd think I would have been the only one!

Nope, I like the Irish as well. Not rabidly, but I do root for them. Vikings I am neutral on, although they share the 0 for 4 Super bowl thing with my beloved Bills, so there's a bit of empathy there.
